Motorola is gearing up to launch the Motorola Edge 70 in India soon, as confirmed by a newly-activated microsite on Flipkart. The page not only hints at an imminent launch but also gives us our first look at the phone’s design and colour options. The Indian variant will maintain the same ultra-slim 5.99mm thickness as the global model.
The launch in India comes nearly a month after the smartphone debuted in the UK and other international markets, where it is sold in two RAM and storage configurations. Globally, the device features a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7 series chipset, paired with a 4,800mAh battery.
Motorola Edge 70 India Launch and Design Details
Flipkart’s dedicated microsite confirms that the Motorola Edge 70 will be sold exclusively through the platform. While Motorola is keeping most India-specific details under wraps, the brand highlights the phone’s slim 5.99mm profile, making it one of the thinnest phones in its segment.
The microsite showcases the device in three colour options:
- Grey
- Green
- Light Green (Lily Pad–like shade)
The teased design shows a metal frame and a triple rear camera setup, arranged inside a square camera module placed at the top-left corner. The Motorola logo sits at the center of the back panel. The right side houses the power button and volume controls, while the left side includes an additional, unspecified button—likely for shortcuts or Google Assistant. More details are expected to be shared as the launch approaches.
Motorola Edge 70 Global Specifications (Expected for India)
Motorola launched the Edge 70 globally in November at a starting price of GBP 700 (around ₹80,000). While Indian pricing is yet to be announced, the hardware is expected to remain similar.
